Thanksgiving

We had a nice low-key thanksgiving at Chris's parent's house. We got all dressed up (especially CJ) to take a family picture for our Christmas card but now we're not even sure we're doing one! Oh well! Auntie Chrissy came over to celebrate with us since Becky's parents are serving a mission in Utah.

November 15

We had some family come and visit a couple of weeks ago. CJ's Grandma Pat, Great Grandma Denise and Auntie Sarah met him for the first time! We had such a great weekend, except that Chris was sick :-( We went downtown and walked along the beach and then went back to their hotel where CJ proceeded to flirt shamelessly with everyone!

I swear he wasn't asleep the whole time!

3 Months Old!

CJ turned 3 months on November 3rd. I cant believe how fast time flies...he's getting so big! Here are some pictures of him lounging on the couch with Daddy.

Blessing Day!!

So it's finally official! CJ has had his blessing. Since there were a few babies born into our family this summer we waited until November to bless him. One of his cousins was blessed the month before and his other little cousin Maddie is being blessed in December. It was such a beautiful day and Chris gave him a very sweet blessing.

Halloween

We were so excited for our first Halloween with CJ. We decided that we wanted him to be a monkey and Becky found the perfect Curious George costume! Becky couldn't stop laughing when she put it on him the first time because it was just too cute! We understand now why parents dress up their babies, its more for the parent than the child!

We took CJ down to Main Street to meet up with Mike, Tami, and the kids. They close off the street, most of the stores hand out candy, and there's tons of fun stuff for kids to do. It was a little crazy down there but we had a good time.

Since CJ was born we've been giving him his baths in the kitchen sink. When he got too big for that I decided to go out and get him an infant tub. And boy does he love it! He calms right down whenever we put him in it and smiles and kicks. He really loves his tubby time!

Post Overload!

So we know we're going crazy with the posts but everyone as been bugging us to see new pictures. So enjoy them all and we'll try to do better with posting more often!

Becky's 25th Birthday!

This past Tuesday was Becky's 25th birthday! We decided to have CJ go hang out with Mimi while we went to Disneyland. We started out at California Adventure so that we could try out the Toy Story ride. Chris was beating Becky almost the whole way through but then after the last two rounds Becky won with 80,000 to 66,000 points! Maybe Chris let her win for her birthday...who knows...

So we thought we'd be a little goofy and take pictures with the posters of the rides that we wanted to go on that day. Can you say tourists! But we had fun doing it anyway. 

We had a really great day but got tired quickly because it was a million and one degrees out that day! No better way to drain all your energy then sweating it out walking around the happiest place on earth! 

To cool down we went to the movies and saw Max Payne. Not a bad movie but Becky almost fell asleep during it!

The day as a whole was great, but it felt sooooo good to go to sleep that night!

Road Trip!

When CJ was five weeks old we decided that it was time for him to meet Becky's parents who are on their mission. They are serving at Cove Fort in Beaver, Utah so we decided to go on our very first road trip!

Chris had to stay home and work so Becky and Mimi packed up the car (and CJ) and made the drive.

Becky's brother Fred, and his wife, had just had their first baby so we decided to have a big family reunion. So Becky's sister, Chrissy, and her other brother, David, drove up too. The only sibling mission that weekend was Larry and his family.

CJ and his cousin Maddie were due two days apart. But CJ came three weeks early and Maddie had to be evicted one week late! Needless to say it was so fun to see the new cousins together. CJ and Maddie make #9 and #10 for the Johnson grandchildren. Larry beat us all to the punch with his eight kids, two of which are actually older than Becky!

Well we all had a great time hanging out and going to the park for lunch. It was so fun to have almost all of the family together for the first time in a while. The next road trip will have to be to Idaho so we can all see eachother.
